Maye was relatively consistent over the rest of the season, throwing between 200 and 290 passing yards in most games. He threw at least one touchdown in every game he played over 30% of New England’s offensive snaps. He was a top-10 fantasy quarterback his first two starts but was QB12-QB18 each week over the rest of the season when starting and finishing games.

He scrambled 3.5 times per game for 31.3 rushing yards from scrambles, which both ranked second-best among all quarterbacks.

Maye’s 7.4 average depth of target last season was the seventh-lowest among quarterbacks. New offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels’ quarterbacks with the Las Vegas Raiders were among the highest in the league, and going back to his last stint with the New England Patriots, their target depths were around average. This means Maye’s average depth of target will be increasing this season.
