George Pickens has been one of the best wide receivers in plays of 30 yards or more over the last three years. His 0.02 receptions of 30 yards per route are the best among wide receivers, while his 0.646 receptions of 30 or more yards per game are second-best, and 17.8% of his receptions have gone for at least 30 yards, which is also second-best.

His big-play ability has made him inconsistent for fantasy purposes. He has finished as a top-36 fantasy wide receiver in less than half of his games during each of the last three seasons.

Cowboys' new head coach Brian Schottenheimer’s offenses have had more seasons below average than above average in points scored, and he has only had four seasons out of 14 where he’s been above average in yards. The only time he was an offensive coordinator and was in the top 10 in passing yards was in 2023, but that was more Mike McCarthy’s offense.
